How To
Get the most out of your online membership joining different groups.  You can affiliate yourself with as many groups as you'd like, with the exception of Faculty/Staff, Music Alumni Association and Donors; access to these groups can be requested and will require verification.

Groups are simply different categories you can join.  For example, you may be in a Composition group, however may be interested to keep up or network with people within a group of a specific instrument.

By joining a group, it will be easier to find and network with people that share specific common interests.  Each group can also have a homepage and blog for open discussion.

If you have questions or would like a group to be considered for creation, please use the Contact Us form found at the top of the page.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: "Does my online registration mean I am an Association member?"

A: Your online membership does not denote membership in the College of Music Alumni Association.  Members of this group are dues-paying members of the Michigan State University Alumni Association.  For information on the College of Music Alumni Assocation, click on the 'Music Assocation' link to the left.

Q: "I already selected my instrument(s) during registration.  Why do I need to join a group?"

A: You may have selected the instrument(s) you play, but can join a group of any instrument, if desired.  Meaning, if you have a particular interest in what is happening in the clarinet world, you can join the group regardless of if you play the clarinet.
