Profile:
Kristan Tetens serves as communications director for both the College of Music and the Residential College in the Arts and Humanities. At the College of Music, she directs the integrated marketing and communications plan and serves as primary media contact. She manages print and digital communications, including Web sites for both colleges and the annual magazine Music Notes. Tetens has extensive experience in public relations planning and is an award-winning copywriter. She is a co-founder of the One Book, One Community program and the creator of Cool U, a one-day university in the arts and humanities. She holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from MSU and will earn accreditation by the Public Relations Society of America during the coming year.
