Amy Rivard began working at Michigan State University in August, 1983. She worked in several areas and positions on campus such as: Non-current Records, Clerk I; Geography Department, Secretary II; Office of Supportive Services, Secretary III to the Director; and Kinesiology Department, Accounting Clerk II.
Rivard joined the College of Music, Advancement Office Team in November 2008, as Secretary III to the Director. She works with the Director and Assistant Director to manage fundraising and alumni relations activities for the College of Music, assists with events management; helps coordinate College of Music Alumni Association Board and the College of Music National Leadership Council meetings; maintains and reconciles office budgets; and manages acknowledgement and donor level recognition for the more than 4,000 gifts received annually in support of the College’s faculty and students.
